The permissible installation area for the radar on the vehicle is as shown in the diagram below. The radar’s transmitting surface faces outward, with the connector towards the vehicle’s center axis. The installation of the radar must meet the requirements shown in the table below to avoid reduction in radar detection angles and to ensure the radar’s normal operation.
